What’s going on with Smart Cities Initiative Downtown Dallas? We are due for an update!!!
Join us at the heart of the action at the Dallas Entrepreneur Center on Wednesday, May 2nd 5:30pm for updates and trends on the Smart Cities Living Lab, Traffic control system, parking, conservation, connectivity, mobility, and data analytics. Cynthia Heyn of SMARTnTX, who presented IoT&Smart Cities to the SACC community last spring will help bring us up to speed together with:
- Jennifer Sanders, Executive Director at Dallas Innovation Alliance who will talk about the current Living Laboratory in the West End and brief us on the next steps.
- Dr. Brenda Connor, Head of Smart Cities and Intelligent Transportation Systems at Ericsson who will share how the new Traffic Control System from Ericsson will improve Downtown traffic pain points
- Shanthi Rajaram, Principal and Founder of Amazech Solutions who will talk about open data and analytics' role in Smart Cities
Plan to arrive at 5:30 for beverages and food and mingle with other professionals before the speakers start at 6:30. The event will finish after presentations and Q&A around 8:00 pm with an optional self-guided tour of the currently installed components in the West End area of Dallas.
