Last day to signup to SACC Dallas´s speaker series with Swedish Match
Last day to signup to our speaker series with Jim Solyst, flown in from D.C, Vice President of Federal Regulatory Affairs at Swedish tobacco producer, Swedish Match.
Jim's presentation will highlight how a Swedish company is maneuvering through the new regulatory landscape.
Jim's presentation will highlight how a Swedish company is maneuvering through the new regulatory landscape.
The Trump Administration is publicly committed to "regulatory reform"; what does that mean? How is it implemented? Will there be less regulation? How does it impact business? Is less regulation always a good thing for business?
Jim Solyst has worked in Washington for 35 years and has experienced six new administrations, each with a different set of promises and approaches yet facing similar realities and obstacles. His area of expertise is the regulatory process: how federal agencies implement law and interact with the regulated community. Jim will talk about the environment in Washington and what businesses can expect under the new Administration.
Jim will describe how Swedish Match has been working through the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) regulatory process to change how the risks of the traditional Swedish product "snus" are communicated to the public. He will address the challenges and opportunities when working with a new Administration.
We hope to see you all there
