Join SACC Dallas, with our guest speaker Camilla Ahlqvist, and learn more about how to incorporate intuitive eating in your diet! Camilla will explain the myth busting facts about the latest diets and why dieting will never be the solution to healthy eating.
About Camilla Ahlqvist
Camilla is passionate about the nutrition and dietetics field. She currently works as the main Dietetic Technician at a residential and outpatient treatment center for adults and teens, where she caters to people with eating disorders. In her practice, she has discovered that more and more people are not getting their facts straight with regard to nutrition, and she hopes to educate them about these misconceptions.
Camilla was born in Sweden and moved with her family to Plano, Texas in 2000. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences at Texas A&M University and is currently working on her postgraduate degree in Dietetics to become a Registered Dietitian by the end of 2020.
Camilla is an avid runner, with a goal to qualify for the Boston marathon. She is also a fervent cook who tries new ways to recreate her favorite dishes with more nutrient-dense ingredients. She shares her cooking adventures as well as science-backed nutrition information on her blog and Instagram (ca_millathyme). In her spare time, she counsels various color guard groups in Texas.
