SACC Texas Golf Tournament - Calling all Austin Golfers

Welcome to The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce Texas’ annual Golf Tournament, now in Houston! This event will take place at the 18-hole Championship Golf Course comprised of replica holes from some of America’s greatest golf courses.

Golf course
Tour 18 Golf Course is a non-metal spike facility. The dress code does not permit denim and men must have a collared shirt. Link to Tour 18 website: http://www.tour18golf.com/golf/proto/tour18golf/

Format
The format is Scramble (including handicap) and there will be a longest drive and closest to pin award. The prestigious “SACC Texas City Championship” will be counted with gross score (excluding handicap).

Registration and sign-up information
Step 1: Please register using the registration button at the top of this page.
Step 2: Send an email with your name and handicap to austin@sacctx.com, if you register a foursome, please name all 4 players by name and handicap. 

Non-golfers
If you want to participate but don’t play golf there are still other options. Either you come to the golf course and enjoy a nice walk, or you contact ellen.wikstrom@sacctx.com to discuss or coordinate other activities. Of course, you’re still invited to participate in the lunch and/or dinner and mingle with your SACC friends – but please let us know so we can make a reservation.
 
Evening dinner and overnight stay
We have a private dining room reserved at 7 PM for food and drinks (at your own expense) in Hughes Landing in The Woodlands. Depending on the number of people we will make the reservation at Local Pour or Del Frisco’s Grille. If you are interested in participating please send an email to jonas.dahlstrom@hotmail.com. If you plan on staying the night we recommend you find a hotel in The Woodlands. There’re plenty of different price ranges available and Uber works fine in the area.
 
Sunday brunch
For the people who stay the night, we will arrange a small Sunday brunch in The Woodlands. Again, let Jonas know if you are interested and we’ll arrange with the reservation.
