DESCRIPTION:Meet the 2025 Gothenburg Delegation in November - Discovering Texas entrepreneurship\n\n \n\nWe want to let all the SACC members know that the 2025 Gothenburg delegation to Texas will take place 2nd to 8th of November! We look forward to meeting you again   so keep a look out for upcoming announcement of events\, an email requesting a visit\, and other ways to help out.\n\n \n\nDuring the successful 2024 Gothenburg Delegation to Texas\, the team met many Texas & Swedish entrepreneurs\, incubators and companies   and especially thanks to Rashid Skaf and Biamp for hosting the excellent SACC event about knowledge-intensive ecosystems & implications for multi-country entrepreneurship.\n\n \n\nThe Nordic Texas Initiative - led by the Gothenburg University U-GOT KIES Centre\, organized by Maureen McKelvey and Helene Honeybone   is committed to bringing Gothenburg Delegations to Texas in 2025 and also 2026. Many activities are ongoing. Professor Umit Gurun\, UTD\, recently visited University of Gothenburg\, chosen through the prestigious Malmsten visiting scholar program. Maureen McKelvey & Olof Zaring are just starting a project to contrast entrepreneurship education in Texas & Sweden. Currently\, an amazing group of UTD students are running a project to analyze this initiative   and will provide ideas for long-term sustainable support for the interactions.\n\n \n\nThe upcoming November delegation to Texas consists of 10 faculty members and Masters students specialized in innovation & entrepreneurship. We've launched the competition for the Masters students in entrepreneurship\, and they will be selected by a jury in May. We are also extending our Nordic reach by welcoming Professor R gnvaldur Saemundsson\, Industrial Engineering\, University of Iceland\, and long-time collaborator of Professor McKelvey to join us.
