A crayfish party\, or kr ftskiva\, is a much-loved Nordic summer celebration built around good food\, drink\, and song.\n\nThe custom dates back to the 20th century\, when crayfish harvesting was legally restricted to late summer\, turning the season's first catch into an excuse for a proper party.
