Whether you're a crayfish party veteran or experiencing your first Kr ftskiva\, this is a night you won't want to miss. New to the tradition? A crayfish party\, or kr ftskiva\, is a much-loved Nordic summer celebration built around good food\, drink\, and song.\n\nThe custom dates back to the 20th century\, when crayfish harvesting was legally restricted to late summer\, turning the season's first catch into an excuse for a proper party. Open to members and non-members alike\; bring a friend and introduce them to the best of Swedish culture in Texas.\n\nAs tradition has it\, there will be singing and schnapps\, "Nubbe\," please plan to drive responsibly.\n\nAdults only\, please.
