And Does It Matter Why? \n\n\n\nDuane Morris attorneys Joakim Soederbaum and Ramsey Schultz will discuss the legal framework established under The Hague Convention for the prompt return of children who have been taken across borders or kept abroad without both parents  consent. \n\n\n\nThe system is designed\, and provides legal assistance\, to promote the prompt return of children\, but exceptions exist to protect the children from dangers such as domestic violence. Joakim and Ramsey will discuss these exceptions and the resources available for a parent seeking to protect a child that has been taken to the United States. \n\n\n\nThey will also share a real-life example.
