DESCRIPTION:Touring Dallas Makerspace\, a non-profit\, shared community workshop and\n\nlaboratory\n\nJoin us to see where Local artists\, engineers\, makers\, and thinkers work together at Dallas Makerspace's 34\,600 square feet facility in Carrollton\, TX to provide tools and learning resources to the public. The resources are used to collaborate on individual and community projects in order to promote science\, technology and art\; while working and experimenting on innovative ideas to encourage learning.\n\n\n\n3-D scanning and printing\, robots\, blacksmithing\, welding\, motorsports\, ceramics\, sewing\, laser arts\, woodworking\, and fire arts are a few examples of what is being offered at the work shop grounds.\n\n\n\nJames Henningson from Dallas Makerspace\, will give us a tour of the facility and talk about how the Maker space has served the community through the pandemic.\n\n\n\nAnyone can qualify to teach a class or host an event at the Dallas Makerspace. You could teach people how to solder\, sew\, build a bobsled\, or any other skill you would like to share with the public.\n\n\n\nAfter the tour we will gather at Cane Rosso across the street for food and beverages.
