Join us and friends from other Nordic and European Chambers of Commerce in Houston for a night of networking and traditional Swedish food!
A traditional meal of pea soup, Swedish and Finnish pancakes, beer, wine and punch will be served at Chef Søren's Kitchen.
Speaker:
Dr. Marguerite Mensonides holds a MSc degree in Pharmacy and PhD in Medicinal and Neurochemistry at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and a MSc degree in Clinical Research Management from the University of Freiburg in Germany.
Prior to coming to Houston in 2016 where she founded a consulting firm for pharmaceutical development from pre-clinical to pharmacy, she worked 25+ years in the pharma industry in Sweden and Germany. Missing the hands on work from research combined with missing European style breads and pastries led to the founding of Dutch Fika, a cottage bakery where the love for "combinatorial" chemistry and the promotion of health found their outlet.But bread and wheat are not the topic of this presentation. Instead Dr. Mensonides will talk about some exciting research from a small biotech company from Lund that has discovered the missing link between Alzheimer and CBD......
