What to expect: Dive into a classic Swedish tradition featuring freshly boiled crayfish, seasonal sides, snaps, and singing. Whether you're a crayfish party veteran or experiencing your first Kräftskiva, this is a night you won't want to miss. New to the tradition? A crayfish party, or kräftskiva, is a much-loved Nordic summer celebration built around good food, drink, and song.

The custom dates back to the 20th century, when crayfish harvesting was legally restricted to late summer — turning the season's first catch into an excuse for a proper party. Open to members and non-members alike — bring a friend and introduce them to the best of Swedish culture in Texas.
