SACC Dallas: Easter Special - Why do Swede's eat the most candy in the world?

Easter is a holiday signified with religion and candy, in Sweden as well as in the USA. But especially in Sweden.

Join us for a zoom event, hosting author André Persson, telling the fascinating story on how the Swedes became the biggest candy eaters in the world (per person).

In the fall of 2009, André released "Candy for the People", together with co-author Thomas Hedlund. The book became an instant bestseller in Sweden and André became a frequent guest on TV and radio media, sharing the story about Swedes and their infamous relationship to sweets.

This will be an exciting, humorous and informational event about one of Easter's greatest traditions!

Read more about the book here (in Swedish).
