SACC - Dallas Food and Wine Pairing Event

Learn about wine/food pairing in the company of your fellow members and friends of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce (SACC)  at) at Maguire’s  inMaguire’s in Dallas, Thursday March 31st at 7:00 pm.

Swedish born Sommelier and Glazer Wine Portfolio Manager Johan Lowegard will teach us about the fine arts of wine and food pairing, while enjoying the gourmet foods of Maguire’s and mingling with fellow members of the SACC in a private setting

The menu will consist of various taste bud teasers, four small appetizers, and your choice of main course:

Beef Bourguignon Tenderloin medallions, pearl onion, mushroom & bacon simmered in merlot demi, served over Yukon smashed potato

Information on Johan Lowegard, Wine Expert, Distributor and Sommelier:
Johan was born in Uppsala, Sweden, in 1989 and moved to Texas with his parents in 1991. After high school he attended the University of Arkansas, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management. Four days after graduation Johan began his career with Glazer’s as a Sales Trainee. He was promoted in October 2012 to a Sales Consultant where he would continue his career for the next year and a half. In July 2014 promoted to a Portfolio Manager currently managing $40 million in annual revenue and 35 different vendor partners. During Johan’s tenure at Glazer’s he has earned his Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and Certified Specialist of Sprits (CSS) credential’s, along with a Level 1 certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers.
