SACC-Dallas' Guest Speaker Series Featuring Christer Fuglesang, Astronaut ESA
From Sweden to Space via Texas!
Christer Fuglesang, Austronaut, ESA, became the first Swedish citizen in space 2006. He launched a second time in 2009, again with the Space Shuttle Discovery, and performed a total of five spacewalks during these two missions.
Christer will share his journey to become an astronaut, and his experience living in non-gravity. He will also talk about the ongoing research on the International Space Station, as well as the vision for an exciting future in space.
Bring your family and friends and join us at Sheraton McKinney and meet the first Swedish Astronaut in space!
