SACC-Houston's Nordic Traditional Thursday
SACC-Houston Invites You!
Join us for a night of networking and traditional Swedish food from 5:30pm - 8:00pm, together with friends from other Nordic and European Chambers of Commerce in Houston.
A traditional meal with pea soup, Swedish pancakes, beer, wine and punch, will be served at Chef Søren's Kitchen.
Michael Griffin is the owner of SilverOak Financial Group, and has been in the financial services business for 21 years. SilverOak has clients nationwide and manages approximately a quarter billion dollars in assets. Before his career in the financial services industry, Michael graduated with a BBA in Finance and a BA in Japanese Language from the University of Notre Dame in 1990. He then worked in management and systems consulting in the US and Japan before returning to the US. He also is an avid fan of aquavit, so much so he founded Valhalla with his wife five years ago.
Today, though, he will be discussing financial planning, especially as it concerns investing, retirement planning and tax efficiency from a US perspective.
Attendance fee:
Members - $20
Non members - $30
Attendance fee includes valet parking and can be paid online or at the door.
