SACC Houston : Traditional Pea Soup and Pancake Thursday!

SACC Houston are inviting you to a classic Swedish tradition: Pea soup and Pancake Thursday! 

Pea soup and pancakes is a tradition in Sweden dating back to the Middle Ages when Sweden was a Catholic country they observed a Friday fast, requiring a nice hearty meal during the Thursday prior.

Pea soup and pancakes is a meal that is found on most husmanskost (traditional, home-cooked dishes) menus across Sweden. It is served at both children’s schools as luxurious restaurants across the country . 

SACC Houston look forward to seeing you there and celebrating this Swedish tradition with us. Lovely foos will be served by  @ChefPedersen from Chef Soren's Kitchen. This is a causal after-work event where we will both enjoy the delicious meal but also network and have meet other business professionals with a connection to Sweden and Houston.
