Europe's biggest industrial project currently in the making in Skellefteå, Sweden: Success or failure?
SACC Dallas is proud to welcome Christoffer Svanberg, CEO at Skellefteå Kraft Industry Locations and CCO at Node Pole in Sweden. Christoffer is working to attract industrial establishments to northern Sweden with a focus on electricity-intensive industries, such as data centers.
For that purpose, he has developed a data center strategy for Skellefteå Kraft in Västerbotten. In his position as CCO for Node Pole, Christoffer played a key role in when Northvolt decided to establish Europe's largest battery factory in Skellefteå. The factory, which is planned to be in operation in 2025, will employ just over 3,000 people and is one of the largest industrial investments in Europe, worth $ 4 billion.
How did he manage to convince Northvolt to establish a factory of such magnitude in a northern coastal town of Sweden with 70,000 inhabitants? And what does it take to make the whole operation to become a success? Welcome to an interesting CEO Spotlight with Christoffer Svanberg.
