SWEA Dallas: Inviting you to Lucia Celebration & Yule bazaar

SWEA Dallas are inviting all SACC members to a Swedish December tradition : Lucia celebration & Yule bazaar. 

The Yule Bazaar and the Lucia celebration represents one of the foremost cultural traditions in Sweden. 

There are many legends about Lucia, but in each one she is a symbol of light and hope. She comes on the darkest day of the year to herald in joyous season with singing, feasting and with the spirit of friendship and with good will towards all. 

During this event you will also find Swedish crafts, girt items, baked goods and sweets. At 11 am the Lucia performance will start. After the performance you can enjoy a Swedish fika!
